It all began with a lightning strike
The odds of someone’s house being struck by lightning is 1 in 200. And while some people may be completely distressed after a natural disaster, when lightning struck our home, we saw it as an opportunity.
Hi, we’re Craig and Danielle Buschmann and we’re excited to share our journey with you.
While the start of our real estate career definitely wasn’t something we anticipated during the initial aftermath of a lightning strike, we quickly learned how much we loved watching a home transform through a major rehab, and it became our gateway into real estate investing. After experiencing the process of a live-in flip, our family moved to Plymouth, MI where we currently reside today. After investing over $100K to transform our primary residence into our dream home, we decided it was time to start investing in rental properties to transform our passion for other people.
In 2019, we purchased our first rental property. Our journey quickly escalated and over the course of 3 years, we invested in over $4M+ in real estate through investment properties in our local Southeast Michigan community. In 2020 Danielle also became a licensed realtor in order to better support our real estate dreams.
Recently, Danielle resigned from her 15-year career at Google to pursue a career in real estate full-time and help friends/family find their dream homes. We currently self-manage our local rental properties ourselves and truly enjoy getting to know all of our tenants on a personal level. By believing that a person’s home is at the center of their lives and a place that should bring families and friends together, we love being even a small part of that happiness for our tenants and clients.
